Love Is in the Boston Air

The countdown to Valentine’s Day continues, and the pressure is on. Whatchya gonna do for your honey this year? I already told you about the Boston Chocolate Tour, but if you and your significant other are lovey-dovey types and want to get into the spirit of the holiday in a more, ahem, demonstrative way, then get a hotel room for crying out loud. I mean, literally, book a hotel room and spend an amorous night on the town in our town.

I’ve got some great getaway deals to share with you so you can surprise and indulge your valentine:

  • Romance, Romance Overnight- A package so lovey-dovey nice, they named it twice. It would be kind of hard not to get in the mood, what with the fireplace glowing in your studio room at the swanky XV Beacon hotel. To help set the stage, the two of you can warm up with some hot toddies in the hotel lounge. Then linger over an elegant dinner at Lucca, and top it off with a sinful treat at Finale Desserterie. (I recommend the yummy Molten Chocolate.)

  • Month of Romance- I know what you’re thinking: Who has the time — or the stamina? But the month in question is the length of the promotion. You can book your one-night getaway at the lovely Mandarin Oriental Boston hotel any time during February and look forward to a chilled bottle of champagne and sweets to kick off your stay. The package includes in-room breakfast and late checkout so you and your valentine could get into the spirit of the holiday on the following day as well, should you so desire.
